Follow Up From Yesterday's Post for CQ Pincushion

Wow 2 days in a row, I'm breaking a world record in my neck of the woods. Here is the follow up of my Granddaughters pincushion before she took it home, gosh I could kick myself for not getting a pic of her with it but with her very active brothers bouncing around I guess I just missed that moment....oh well, she will be back this weekend and we will try again, and by the way I'm now wondering how I survived raising 3 busy boys along with one busy daughter, good thing I was very young!!

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods! Im so happy to turn the page on a New Year and look forward to new adventures. My oldest Grandson has turned 11 years old and his sister one of my Granddaughters just turned 10 years old.....what a great age and fun to keep company with. Of course my Grandson is all wrapped up in his new Wu games and my Granddaughter is interested in leaning to sew. Here is the base of a CQ pincushion I made for her to go into her sewing box I gave her for her birthday. Now the pics aren't too clear as I needed to charge my camera so I took them with my cell phone, I can see a big difference in sharpness between my cell and my camera, ahh so next time I will make sure my camera is charged. I'm linking this post to Crazy Quilting Journal Project 2016 for my January Block as they can be any size or shape. This one was created on a 10 inch square to start then rounded for the pincushion.
