Block of the Month for CQJP 2013

Hi there my to all my blogging friends! I'm just popping in to share my "Block of the Month" for  CQJP 2013  I signed up  to complete a block a month for a year and this my January block. A relaxing little piece of art to do in the evening while being a couch potato in front of the TV. My Sunday evening project actually while watching Downton Abbey, a favorite of mine I might add. This is just one of the few things I have been up to recently in my spare time. What do you do when you watch a favorite show?? Geez... if I don't do something I might fall asleep after a busy day.

Dollys and Doilies

Just sharing a bit of Dolly's and Doilies with you today. These are my latest paper Dolls created  for the Le Papier Doll Group I belong to and as you can see they were quite a bit of fun. This is Alice and her arms are joined at the elbow. Edith is on my Heartful Creations blog so I would love it if you would go take a peek. I just thought I would spilt up the fun for a dreary weekend here in the usual Sunny CA. While we have been blessed with great weather on and off,  this weekend has a bit of rain and more to come, are we spoiled or what? Lol. Today I'm linking up for How Sweet the Sound with Mz Beverly for some pink fun with all the ladies over there. 

Joining Etsy's Cottage Craft Room For a Bit of Creative Fun

Better late than never as today I have been catching up from Grandchildren's Birthday parties and family fun pretty much all weekend until today just in time for  Etsy Cottage Style Craft Room. I have been working on some of the swaps over at Roses On My Table and here are some ATC's I recently mailed off to be swapped. I finished 2 Paper dolls for the Le Papier Doll Group and they are drying or I would share those too. They were really fun but after that I want to get back to working on a journal I have been working on which is a memory tribute to my beautiful, sweet Mother that I started  a long time ago but put it aside as I hadn't found jut the right fabrics I wanted to use to do it justice. I am not one to rush through meaningful projects but work as inspiration  comes from within. Have a great creative week and maybe by next Cottage Craft Room I'll have made some progress on this sentimental project.

Thinkin' In Pink

A little Pink for the Saturday pink girls, I just finished this ATC for a swap over at Roses and it brought to mind what blogging has done for all of us. Great support, love and friendships. Downton Abbey Season 3 Begins Tonight!

Just a reminder if you are a Downton Abbey fan, Season 3 begins this evening, 6 pm pacific coast time, 9 pm eastern time on PBS. You may find it under Masterpiece Classics. I can't wait to see some of the new additons  to the cast, like Shirley MacLaine!
