Prayer Flags and Blessings

Hi blogger friends! Remember last week when I shared that wonderful package of goodies that I received in the mail from Sandy from Quill Cottage? This is a little something  that I created this week with a portion of the treasures  from that package. You know the saying, "someone's trash is someone else's treasure" so true. This Prayer Flag was created for a group I belong to over at  The Trodden Path, hosted by Constance Taylor. A wonderful place for learning, creating and expanding your Art.  I normally would share this on my other blog but shared here as I posted the gift I received  on this blog.  This flag will be part of an exchange over in our group at  the Trodden Path. The nest by the way is needle felted and was really fun to do, the streamers are sari silk and crinkled seam binding with bird and butterfly charms added. Wishing you a great weekend and have fun creating something new! Today I'm linking up to Honey for Potpourri Friday and Feathered Nest Friday

Wow, this is so beautiful. I have heard of a prayer shawl and now a prayer flag. Such a thoughtfull item to make. And I love the color blue and brown together. Very nice..

Marilou,

What a wonderful prayer flag! I love how you used some the tid-bits in your gift package! I have never tried needle felting, looks like fun. I am allergic to wool and I know that a wool base is used in felting so I don't think I will be trying that anytime soon.

I'm so sorry I haven't been around as much lately, I am super busy. I have to find the balance between work and play I think!!!
